First Official Images and trailer from Ridley Scott’s ROBIN HOOD

Ever since I found out Ridley Scott was directing a Robin Hood film staring Russell Crowe, I hoped to hell that it would be a decent film. The story of Robin Hood has been told several times throughout the years and many of them have been pretty bad. If anyone can do the story the justice that it deserves it’s Ridley Scott.

Judging by the images that come from Courier Mail this looks like it going to have all those Scott signature touches that we have come to know through the period films that he has directed the last few years.

Beginning after the Death of King Richard at the Siege of Chalus Chabrol, the film follows Robin on his rise to infamy among the English Barons and the newly crowned King John. The film also stars Cate Blanchett who you will see in the pictures below, Mark Strong, Danny Huston and William Hurt.

Lets hope Scott and Russell brought their A game to the production of this movie. Check out the Images below and let us know what you think!
